If these two teams meet in next year's playoffs, who do you take? Assuming all are healthy and want to play... Never seen such a competitive 36+ team in the league history.

Team 36+:
PG: Mike Conley/CP3
SG: Steph Curry/Eric Gordan
SF: Kevin Durant/Joe Ingles
PF: LeBron James/Kevin Love
C: Brook Lopez/DeAndre Jordan

Team 33/34/35:
PG: Harden/CJ McCollum
SG: Lillard/DeRozan
SF: Paul George/Khris Middleton
PF: Kawhi Leonard/Draymond Green
C: Nikola Vucevic/Kelly Olynyk

There is no world where you take the younger team here both from a talent standpoint AND injury standpoint too, oddly enough.

The funniest part is definitely that I trust the old team to be more healthy by playoff time.

I was actually thinking just 34/35 should be enough as much less aging players available but even adding 33 still may not be enough...

Good catch, he will be 35 next year, another injury prone to the younger team.

I'd put Batum on Team 36 as well. He's better than Ingles.

I'd replace McCollum with JRue on Team 33/34/35.

It's amazing the utter lack of decent centers on Team 33/34/35.

Blasphemy. In all seriousness, Ingles is such a good passer off the bench that I really don't see how Batum would be better

Ingles can't move on defense. Batum was used to great effect as a primary defender against Brunson. And with an old team, you need some guys who can just chase around the opposition's best wing player.

I guess that's a fair point, it just hurts my soul. Ingles isn't crazy athletic, but he's still a smart defender that works well within a scheme. Of course, I'm incredibly biased

Yeah, a smart heady defender can work if he is surrounded by enough guys who can do the quick-twitch athletic stuff necessary. But on a team of geezers, I'd want the more agile Batum.
