I mean its clear he's a terrible fit in OKC and his confidence can't be high atm. But this is a talented on-ball player. Who will likely move this summer to a spot better suited to him and OKC will upgrade his spot and be even more dangerous.

Other than his outside shot, I've always felt Markelle Fultz was a talented on ball player too. Other than this year where it's been a lost year due to injuries, he shoots roughly the same percentage from 2 and gets similar amount of assists while turning the ball over less. He also has a tighter handle and draws more fouls. Giddey has a significant height advantage that lets him play up to the 3 where he is far more of a standout in the things they do well compared to the PG position though Fultz has good size. Fultz puts more pressure on ball handlers; Giddey is more switchable defensively and rebounds considerably better. Both just need to develop enough of a shot to let their other attributes shine; Giddey is younger and his deep shot looks more likely to develop into at least mediocre where Fultz will have a harder time changing.

Fultz played with a fractured knee this season.
