I think it's the bulls hands down.

JJs are great but Scottie and Jordan would shut them down, and MJ would average 40+

KP would have it over Cartwright

I'd say bulls in 6

Must feel good being compared to the greatest teams of all time like the '92 Bulls and the '18 Rockets

The Bulls were better in 1992’s NBA than the Celtics are in 2024’s NBA but h2h I’d take the Celtics. The Bulls aren’t deep enough to match Boston and they would’ve never seen anything like the Celtics offense.

Is there time for adjustment? If not, Celtics in 4 or 5. Even with adjustments, I like how the Celtics matchup here. People forget that the 1992 Bulls were played to a stalemate by the 1992 Knicks over 6 games (dead even in points), and would have been taken to 7 by the Blazers if not for a collapse in game 6 when Jordan was sitting on the bench.

I feel like this is just another “What rule set are we under?” questions. The answer is clearly the 2024 Celtics if they played in today’s NBA, and likely vice versa if they played in 1992. If you put the 1992 Bulls in today’s NBA from the beginning of their careers, maybe/probably Horace, Jordan, Pippen, etc would be much better three point shooters, and maybe Cartwright becomes like Horford in terms of shooting. If so, then the Bulls probably win since they’ve got better players. But that conclusion requires making some positive assumptions in their favor.

The Blazers were quite loaded and a very good scoring team. The game was much rougher and harder to score, can't compare the two.

Celtics smoke them.
