Paul George as Batman vs. Paul George as Robin

When Paul George was in Indiana, he was the franchise player. After multiple failures in the playoffs, he moved on to become the #2 to Russ at OKC and then to Kawhi in LAC. While PG had his best season in OKC, that was no doubt still Russ's team.
So the question is this. Was the 2013 Indiana Pacers the best team that PG has ever played on and the closest to winning a championship that he has been. That team had Roy Hibbert who made the allstar team and was the runner up for DPOY. Lance Stephenson was the secondary scorer/perimeter stopper. Solid veterans in David West and Luis Scola, and George Hill as the point guard.

2020 Clippers were probably his best team. Simply had a generational meltdown against Denver. But 6.66 SRS, +6.3 NRTG, and were generally viewed as co-favorites in Vegas with the Lakers and Bucks. Obviously the fact they had the meltdown to begin with could be used to argue that they never had a chance regardless, but certainly stands out to me as the biggest missed opportunity.

This. Clippers had at WORST a top 3 roster for about 4-5 years and never made a Finals and only one WCF. Clippers had the best roster in the NBA in 2020 and proceeded to meltdown vs. Denver.

It wasn't clear-cut best but there wasn't another team with a clearly better case. And yeah they imploded. That was easily his best club. I don't even know why anyone would take the 13/14 Pacers over them
