Which keeps track of either the efg% of ts% of shots attempted off of would be assists for players. So for example, player x makes let's say 20 passes in a given game where player y or z attempts a shot that would count as an assist for player x if they made it. That sort of thing which could also include ft's which came from such a shot. I was just curious given the level of tracking we now have in the league whether it was now a stat being used. I think it would be useful to measure the effectiveness of different styles of play(more so among play makers and helios). It could even be boiled down to ts add created or something like that.

I think the closest thing to what you're saying is probably "Potential Assists", defined as "Any pass to a teammate who shoots within 1 dribble of receiving the ball"
https://www.nba.com/stats/players/passing?SeasonType=Regular%20Season&dir=D&sort=POTENTIAL_AST
But it's not really what you're looking for. I do not think that level of granularity is publicly available anywhere, unfortunately.
