Which trio would you take in a head to head series where the rules/refs alternate each game between 1988 and 2018?

2017 team.

87 MJ isn’t better than Prime versions of those 2017 players.

Bird’s defensive ability was declining by then , KD was decent that year

Team 1. You can use the peaks for all 3 involved, the result is the same.

Unless you are going strictly off BBR production, Jordan in 88(or any year) is still less productive on either end than Lebron and less productive offensively than Steph.

Bird at this point is a negative defensively ontop of being the 2nd worst creator here and the worst scorer. Magic is the other potential negative.

Fit-wise Curry/Lebron have less overlap than any permutation of the second trio and Durant is reasonably well suited as a third high-volume scorer given how little he does outside of scoring.

It's wildly lopsided all around unless you're the sort to think of CR7 as interchangeable with Messi due to goal/assist averages.
