Which team wins in a 7 game series?

I think the 2024 Celtics because they are just very athletic. The 2008 Celtics were an older team, and could beat LeBron because they could focus on containing LeBron, but 2024 Celtics have too many weapons.

Yes, the 2008 team was a very good defensive team in its era, but Kendrick Perkins will essentially be unplayable, and James Posey isn't better than anyone on the 2024 starting 5

If both teams are airdropped straight into the series, 2024 would sweep because 2008 runs an antiquated offense and wouldn't be prepared defensively for 2024's shot selection.

With good 2024 coaches, a training camp and a short preseason beforehand, it should be a deep series. Rondo/Allen/PP/Posey/KG is an awesome modern basketball lineup. Rondo and KG being poor 3pt shooters is an issue but that lineup has decent firepower and their defense is lethal. Problem is they have zero depth.

Even playing their best 5 players 40+ MPG, they'll bleed a lot of points from those remaining minutes. Their next 5 players in playoff minutes were Kendrick Perkins, PJ Brown, Sam Cassell, Leon Powe and Glen Davis. Zero shooting, almost zero perimeter defense.

2024 Celtics probably still win, even if 2008 is allowed some adjustment prep. Too much shooting, both from the starters and the bench.

We should ask Zaza Pachulia since this is an easy question to answer.

With a healthy Zinger, I think 2024 pretty easy.
