Obviously, the 2024 team is more talented from top to bottom, but as we saw from the Serbia game, the team is still beatable, and good team chemistry can (almost) be enough to beat talent.

I don't know if I get flamed for this but I'm tempted to say the Warriors. Obviously Team USA is stacked but only 5 people play on the court at the same time. There's basically no difference between Kevon Looney and Jayson Tatum if they're both sitting on the bench.

Depth is an important factor in a seven game series, though. Whether it is to deal with fatigue, prevent or react to injuries, or simply being able to play different styles and players to see what works and to react to developments within the series.

Now, if you tell me that the the 2017 Warriors have the whole RS to prepare while the 2024 Team USA has the same preparation it had for the Olympics then maybe it's close. I'd still pick the 2024 team and if they have the same prep time it's not really a contest. Not over seven games.
