Here, I’ll be showing the creations I’ve officially tracked and recorded for this 2006 Lebron game:

(26 creations)
I also counted 39 EDTOs for these creations though i count edtos differently than KD and i think some of my edtos are adas for them. KD said they saw 35 edtos and 17 adas.
My friend Bev counted 30 creations. He counts plays like these even though the guy kobe passed to didn’t shoot, I’m now less strict and always count those nowadays, however, back when I initially tracked this game (wasn’t too focused with tracking since its a random regular season game I wanted to track), I was more strict on if that Kobe video is a creation. So 30 is definitely plausible.

47 points and 26-30 creations. It’s up there for the GOAT offensive regular season game against his year’s champs.
Lebron’s really got crazy gravity and he creating alot with it even in games he shoots alot.
Tbh I don’t know abt Nash being the GOAT pm.
Thoughts?

Re: 2006 LeBron Playmaking Tracking
I think it is funny that you are treating “adas” and “edtos” as terms immediately familiar to your audience. I had to go to Ohayo’s profile to remind myself.
Anyway, I appreciate the clips and think this type of work is valuable to better emphasise how high volume playmakers — Lebron, Nash, Magic, Oscar, Luka, Westbrook, Harden, Paul, Trae, Haliburton, etc. — significantly outpace their raw assists, which I would hope most people passively understand but which nevertheless often goes unappreciated because “potential assists” are not a normalised element of the box score the way field goal attempts are, and potential assists themselves follow a stricter standard than whether a look was created. But I agree the comparison aspect of this generally requires a larger sampling of those top end playmakers.
OhayoKD wrote:Defenders taken out (DTOs) -> this is when a player entirely or near-entirely renders a defender unable to affect an offensive play themselves(excepting a reset)
Additional Defenders Affected (ADAs) -> this is when a player helps render a defender unable to affect an offensive play
Extra Defenders Taken Out (EDTO) are defenders you take out who aren’t primarily responsible for guarding you.

So there's a counted creation disparity of 8. Curious which of Lebronny's extra 8 you didn't agree with.
Would also be interesting to see which plays Bev counted neither of you two did though we'd need the clips for that.
