Top 3. Behind Jokic, but in the debate with SGA, Luka and Giannis for #2.

He's probably a top 5ish player. A bit like Luka in that he needs Lakers brass type team to win a title. Chris Paul was a high PER/WS type guy... he routinely did well in Hollinger metrics.

Good overall box score production. Significant scoring efficiency. Significant offensive impact. Not surprising he did well. His problem was always that he couldn't stay healthy more than anything else. Slender 6-footer type, just struggled to keep it together for 82 and a postseason, and when he did, he frequently didn't have enough help. And he couldn't go out there and bang off 27-30 a night or be the guy to go for 50, you know?

A peak Chris Paul has no weakness except for being short. The ability to control the game and be a stabilizer when things don't go right are extremely valuable. He is one of the few players who can settle his team down and run a proper set. Young teams like the Grizzlies, Rockets, T-Wolve, Pistons, Spurs & even the Pelicans would largely benefit learning from Chris Paul.
