Saw this comparison on another board and after immediately reacting like it was a ridiculous question, I realized it wasn't.

Which one is the better player?

Klay more easily fits into teams, whereas Austin you almost have to build the team around him.

Prime Klay didn't have the "first option tendencies" of Reaves but was elite at his role, moreso than Reaves at his.
Elite shooting with very good defense, didn't need the ball in his hands to be effective.
Literally a guy you could put on any team regardless of their roster without having to worry about fit.

lol seriously. What are we talking about here. Klay is probably the second best shooter of all time and in a different league defensively compared to Reaves. Reaves is better at playmaking but to me this is Klay without having to even think for a second. Prime Klay is a type of guy you win championships with. Doesn’t need the ball. Best shooter around, one of the best defenders around.

28/9/7 on 63 TS% in 7 games this season without LeBron up from 19/5/5 without LeBron last year which is slightly under what he’s averaging this season. How is that fools gold? Of course he’s not going to put up the same numbers when he’s sharing the floor with one or both of the greatest floor generals in the history of the game, especially when his best skill is redundant with what they do at a much higher level.
