Ben Mathurin vs Trey Murphy
Both have flashes of potential stardom. Both display good two way ability. Who would you rather have going forward?

Trey Murphy, and personally I don't really give it a second thought.
Trey is the superior shooter, playmaker and defender. Whilst his work off the ball and size are far more valuable in a modern team context. The statistical advantage also reflects this.
I'd give Mathurin some leeway as he's slightly younger, but I don't see how he expands his game meaningfully beyond being an above average scorer.
I fully recognise a comparison being made after one good finals game, but overall he's had a very pedestrian playoffs so I don't sense anything that would change the dial on this comparison. Now the idea of Trey replacing Ben on the Pacers...that would send them into a new stratosphere.
