Who was more impactful?

I'd say Kobe but I think Dwight definitely had the potential to be a tier above Kobe peak wise. He just didn't have that mindset to do it.

Not remotely comparable, since Curry is better than Kobe and Dwight is better than Zo.

Both are pretty comparable but I’d probably agree with this?

Comparison very much holds

I'm leaning towards Dwight here. Kobe was a much more effective volume scorer and playmaker, but I think Dwight's D and rebounding were immense, especially in-era. Guess it comes down to value system. Dwight took Hedo Turkoglu, Jameer Nelson, Rashard Lewis, Rafer Alston and Mickael Pietrus through Lebron James and into the Finals.

In that Finals, Kobe had a pretty rough scoring performance, and was heavily carried by team rebounding, leaned pretty hard on Gasol's efficiency, and Lamar Odom suddenly BLAZING away from 3.

I'd say it's pretty close, because despite all that, Kobe started tons and tons of LA's offense and of course was shouldering a large shot creation burden out of necessity. But peak to peak, I'd take Dwight.

Dwight. For about five years, Dwight was a clear top 3 player in the league. I don't think it's so much a BBIQ issue - Kobe made the best of his limited toolset. He just didn't have the same talent as the guys he's compared to, in many cases.
Now that's the difference between first and last place.

Dwight isn’t anywhere near Kobe

Kobe is a 95 / 96

Dwights peak prime was around 92/93

I'd go D Rob though I'm admittedly higher on him than most

It's close and can be argued either way, depending on team-building and stylistic preferences. FWIW, here's how they compare in Taylor Snarr's/Dunks & Threes' Estimated Plus-Minus (EPM):

Best Three Year EPM Stretch:

Lebron James(08-10) +9.26
Chris Paul(08-10) +8.73
Dwyane Wade(09-11) +6.96
Kevin Garnett(03-05) +6.56
Dirk Nowitzki(06-08) +5.7
Tim Duncan(05-07) +5.66
Kobe Bryant(06-08) +5.5
Dwight Howard(09-11) +5.5

Steve Nash(05-07) +4.96

Best Single Year EPM:

Chris Paul(2009) +10.8
Lebron James(2009) +10.3
Dwyane Wade(2009) + 7.9
Kevin Garnett(2003) +7.0
Tim Duncan(2005) +6.5
Dirk Nowitzki(2003) +6.3
Kobe Bryant(2006) +5.9
Dwight Howard(2011) +5.8

Steve Nash(2007) +5.5

D-Rob for sure. And even his playoff struggles match off nicely against Kobe's struggles in the Finals and stuff.

Robinson had a near-30ppg regular season and a scoring title one year. ROY, DPOY, MVP. Quadruple double. League-high 4.5 bpg season. He had a good run in the top-2 of the DPOY vote, couple more top-4, bounced back nicely after the injury with a rep suppressed some from playing with Duncan. He had a great careeer.

Same haircut the entire time, too. xD

You say some of the dumbest nonsense I’ve ever seen. Kobe averaged 32/6/7. Cut the bs, this is getting clownish. Howard only averaged 15 a game that series and there was no doubt at any point who the best player was, Kobe and it was NEVER close
