Suppose you redo the peaks project for the Cavs, does Evan Mobley crack the top 5?

Or in other words, where do you rank Evan Mobley 2025 season in a list of top individual seasons for the Cavs where each player can be listed in a single entry

Behind LeBron, Kyrie, Price, Nance, Daugherty. Maybe above Love. I don't think any of the pre 80's Cavs rank that high.

I was talking about a peak season in the OP. Do Nance and Daugherty have a peak season better than Mobley?

Very hard to say as of right now because he’s such an unfinished product. He has the potential to be #2 behind Lebron when it’s all said and done. If he can manage to keep up his current level of production on the defensive end of the floor while also becoming a consistent 22-25 PPG scorer he will be a top 5 player in the league and a fringe MVP candidate.

Would have to think about it some more, but already has an argument as high as #2.

Guys I'd mention that weren't brought up yet: Lenny Wilkens, Terrell Brandon, Donovan Mitchell

Yes, I am talking peak here. Daugherty when he made 3rd team all nba and Nance in a few are both ahead imo. Daugherty was actually the center of the Cavs offense most years.

Yes, I'd agree on Brandon and Mitchell too. Mobley is just entering his prime so a bit early for a comparison like this.

Definitely the central question for me.

I’d definitely have him above Daugherty. Not sure about Nance.

Behind Lebron, the rest are debatable.

BTW does Nate Thurmond belong in the conversation as well? He had little offensive contribution for the Cavs but solidified their defense helping them to make an historical playoff run
