C: David Robinson / Caldwell Jones

I think prime Suns take this one quite easily. Their guard rotation alone is vastly superior to the Spurs. Then you add prime Ceballos and Tom Chambers? After D.Rob, you can argue the Suns have the 2nd to 6th best players, depending where you put prime Terry Cummings.

Strickland at his best was in his Wizards years, mid to late 90s, and he was one of the top PGs, mostly offensive minded, not as good as Kidd but counters him well. Elliott at his best was slightly better than Ceballos, though it is close. He is more of a perimeter player but creates better for others definitely. Cummings at his best was arguably slightly better than Chambers, being clearly better defensively and scoring well in his time in Milwaukee in the 80s. Robinson is far superior to McDyess and is clearly the best player on both ends in this matchup so the Spurs are a bit better.
