It’s very close. Both are ATG level seasons. I’ll take SGA by a hair.

Definitely Giannis. Just more impactful, probably on both ends. It's not his fault his support cast has been worse.

I think it is reasonably close, but I just prefer Gianni's immense two-way impact over Shai all-around offensive brilliance.

Giannis over Shai on offense is ridiculous take.

I prefer Shaq to Kobe on offense.

Pretty much how I see it. Close, and my mind is not all made up, but my initial thought is that I'd rather have peak Giannis.

Unfortunately Giannis is no Shaq on offense, so it's another missed comparison on your part.

More like the modern version. Not as unstoppable of course, but very effective. Shai is better running your offense of course, but I feel like if peak Giannis skillset was paired with a better support cast he'd be even more dominant.

Statistically if we look at per 100 & TS% Giannis looks better than Shaq. Depending on what years we're using he's comparable to Shai too.

I prefer Giannis' 2 way impact.

For me personally, I think Giannis can hit levels Shai simply can't.

Good question. I think Giannis at his peak has been underrated as a defender, especially in the playoffs and the lift he’s given them while being able to lift the offense as well. Overall, outside of a few series, he hasn’t been able to lead good offenses in the playoffs. Then you have Shai who wasn’t able to replicate his regular season offensive in the playoffs, but his defense may also be underrated.

More like modern version that doesn't have the same off-ball pressure, doesn't fit that well with other perimeter players and doesn't have the natural synergy with high level talent in general. Giannis and Shaq comparison ends only at the very rudimentary level of realising that both are extremely athletic and uniquely dominant physical specimens that lean heavily on these physical advantages. That's where the comparison ends.

I also hope that we won't come back to analyzing offense through pp100 and TS%, it's 2025 after all.

I don't get why everyone is so sure Jokic and Giannis are better honest.
