Yardbarker has an article listing every franchise's leading rebounder (Charlotte's is Emeka Okafor fwiw). Surprising me, the Lakers all time leader is Elgin Baylor, not Kareem, Magic, Shaq, etc. Again, fwiw.

Assume a few factors involved would be the high pace and minutes played as well as the low FG% of the eras he played in (in his peak rebounding season, the league average was .415). Man was no slouch as a vertical athlete either, of course. :)

13.5 rebs per game, 14 years (really 12 years).

Kareem also had 14 years at the Lakers, but only 9.4 rebs per game.

For me, the surprising one is Kobe in 3rd. But then again, he's played the most games for the Lakers by far.

If we look at rebs per game, It's Wilt by a landslide, then Elgin, Mikan, Happy Hairston, Shaq.
