Dean Oliver's 1989 player rankings

I came across this somehow and found it interesting. Dean Oliver, a basketball statistician, wrote a book called Basketball Hoopla 1988-89 as a young man and uploaded its contents to a website, indexed for easy viewing.

Near the end he does positional rankings for the time.
