Both will be in the running for MIP and first time all stars if they keep this up and both still have plenty of room to grow. Who you taking? Giddey has an edge statistically but I think it’s close when you take into account Deni’s defense.

I was ready to say Deni but Giddey's efficiency and rebounding are a lot better than I thought they would be. As OP said, it's pretty close. Giddey may be harder for the Bulls to replace his numbers, Deni is probably more portable, both teams are off to unexpectedly good starts.

One of the most active threads on the Wiz board is STILL the one about that trade (with a few posters pushing back mainly saying Deni was getting too good for us to tank properly). Currently 96 pages and with active posts today.
