Fisher
Bryant
Mr. X
Odom
Bynum
So Luke Walton, Trevor Ariza, Vlad Radmonovic.
Who should start for the Lakers?

Artest?

Ariza because of his defense and athleticism. Once he gets his jumpshot as reliable (average at best right now, from what I've seen), that'll be great.
--------------
Lakers aren't getting Artest from the Kings in a two-way trade. A three-way trade is tough to get done.
Only way I could see Ron as a Laker is settling for the MLE if he opts out of the final year of his deal, and does not get the contract he's going to be looking for. Who knows what will happen with that, though. Also Radmanovic/Ariza will have to be dealt with (traded or used much lesser), and Walton will be a permanent bench player.

Ariza, helps Kobe save a bit more energy on the defensive end and a high activity player that gets into the passing lanes and can finish around the basket.
Walton is probably more effective off the bench being more of a play-maker and he'd be able to use that skill more in the second unit.

But do you really want Walton and Radman 2 bad defenders in the game at the same time?

The Lakers really need to explore packaging Luke Walton and Sasha Vujacic for another quality piece.

Who else, other than McHale Ainge or Zeke would give up a quality piece for that garbage?
