who would win in seven and how close would it be?

:nonono:

You are comparing a team that won 72 games to one that won 45 games?

Say MJ/Kobe switch places, the first team would still win between 55-64 games, but team 2 would win between 50-54 games.

So of course team 1 would win or should at least. The longest the series would go is 6 games.

But I am not sure what your agenda is. Why you didn't put Magic on the Lakers and Kobe on the 80's team?

This has got to be the most (Please Use More Appropriate Word) attempt of Kobe jocking that i've seen.

This is actually a thread attempting to underscore jordan's major impact on a team. I think team 2 would win actually

The team's respective records is irrelevant, but i think theyd have comparable end of season records. Both would be elite teams, no?

72 games is 72 games, but they won many of those games because of Jordan. So the question is, would the Bulls win 72 games with Bryant and would the Lakers win 45 with Jordan. Either way, it doesn't matter because a record depends on the competition that season. I assume that in any year, each team would win at least 50-55 games.

I'm just curious if you could take Jordan and put them with Kobe's worst teammates and he could elevate that team over a Kobe led team with Jordan's best teammates? The ages also matter because I picked probably the best all around Jordan against the best Kobe we've seen.

No player is worth a difference of 27 wins, much less the difference between Jordan and Kobe, which is small. Heck, take Kobe off the 1st team and you'll probably have a more fair comparison.

The Bulls won 55 games the year Jordan played baseball. Heck, they almost made it to the Finals.

I don't think this is a fair comparison.

They almost made it to the conference finals, not finals.

Of course team 1 would win. But it the SG advantage goes to Team 2, sorry Kobe homer.
