04-05 Brevin knight was posting 10 points and 9 assists per game and only 2 turnovers per game along with 3 rebounds in only 29 minutes per game. Sounds familiar?

Mind you his percentages were off but their importance to the team were much the same.

what does his assists have to do with being on a bad team? That just shows he is a better distributer if that is what you are applying.

Just for your education. If I have a team full of stars (suns), I should expect career highs in assists as a point gaurd. If i have a team full of scrubs, I expect to have lower assist numbers compared to the team full of stars.

Brevin Knight in 04-05, was really good, and no one noticed.

The reasons Calderon blows this guy out of the water, is that Calderon is doing this when he's 3 years younger, with better defense (Knight is 5'9'' on a good day), he's a much, much better shooter, and a much much more efficient scorer.

Brevin Knight is one of the best pure distributors in the league. But it really doesn't matter because he's a minus player in all other respects.

Jose Calderon is a net positive in almost all categories, the main category missing being man defense. Yet he's still a better man defender than Knight, just due to natural advantage.

Brevin Knight, career shooting percentages: 41.5 FG%.
Jose Calderon: 49.1%.

If Knight was 6'3" and a lights-out shooter, like Calderon, he would have been a great player. But he was neither, which made him a journeyman.

i did state that aside from the percentages they have identical statistics..

someone explain how it is harder to average more assists on a team with better offensive options compared to a team with weak offensive options?
