Saw someone make a comment on the Raptors board about this in a AI thread. So I thought I would ask the question. There's no doubt that these two guys have the most heart in the NBA, but really, which one of them has MORE heart?

Give me AI, given his small stature and all the injuries he's played through throughout his career, I gotta say him.

KG. AI only has the heart to play through "injuries" on offense.

I saw Adam Morrison cry his eyes out during the NCAA tournament. You going to tell me he has more heart than AI to?

AI never plays defense, that has nothing to do with heart. I'm going with KG in terms of heart, what AI is at the top of the league in IMO is toughness. I don't personally classify playing through injuries as part of heart; I think of heart as love of the game and I don't think anybody on this planet loves the game quite as much as Garnett.

I'd love the game too, if I were making 20M a year! :P

Heart isn't limited to games.

KG supposedly has the hardest off-season training program of any player in the NBA. While Iverson is taking the summer off to make anti-semitic rap songs, KG would take three days off following his final NBA game, and then hit the training. Hard. People say the last person with a comperable off-season training program was Karl Malone.

What's that lead to? Iverson kind of plays through injuries -- Garnett doesn't get hurt.

Garnett is also supposed to be one of the most intense guys in practice as well. Iverson? Not so much.

If having heart means you're willing to suffer, yeah AI will do it for 2 hours in 70 games a year. But Garnett, playing in MIN for years, suffered every day, in every training session, in every practice, and they still needed a crowbar to get him to leave. Garnett probably has more heart than any player in the game.
