i think its out of these two teams who has the BEST front court +1 big off the bench.

Which front court would you rather have?

It is tough, Denver has advantages at 3 of the 4 positions as Camby>Z, KMart>Gooden, Nene>Sideshow Bob when healthy (which is admittedly an if) . . . yet LeBron is a helluva lot better than Carmelo, enough to give Cleveland the edge.

I dont consider the SF a frontcourt position. And you arent including Najera and Kleiza, who probably make this a landslide for Denver.

If I was making a team, I would probably go with Denver's 3-4-5, only because I think it would be easier to build a nackcourt around them than the Cavs.

if you read, i said the 3/4/5 plus 1 big off the bench, unless you think najera or kleiza are better then verajou?

well in that case, you are just coming up with arbitrary criteria to give the Cavs the edge.

Hey, you put a good play making PG in Denver and you make up for the only advantage that Bron has on Melo.

No matter who you put alongside the Cavs, they will still be pisspoor defensively up front.

If you can choose any two players in the league to put at the PG and SG, Denver will end up with a better team than Cleveland. Easy.

You put a good backcourt in Cleveland, and they go from a mediocre team to legit contenders. Their frontcourt is good defensively, dont know where you got that from. They all have size and are very long, and they are very good rebounders.

Cleveland frontcourt>Denver frontcourt

and Najera and Kleiza = irrelevant IMO. They are decent players off the bench but nothing special.

Kleiza is the nuggets 3rd leading scorer and one of the best backup SF's in the league. He has the highest FG% inside the arc of any player under 7 foot. And is still young.

Najera is a terrific defender and has the highest +/- on the team outside of Iverson and Camby. Hardly irrelevant.

LMAO. Gooden is a mediocre defender. Ilgauskas is a poor defender. Varejao is pretty good.

Denver is already a top 5 defensive team. You put a play maker PG like Jason Kidd on the nuggets along with a shooter like Ray Allen and you have a championship team. Kidd/Allen/Melo/nene/Kmart with camby, Najera, Kleiza are a top 5 offensive team easy, and probably top 3 defensive.

You put those guys on the Cavs and you still have a bad defensive team and risk **** up chemistry, as Lebron has never had the ball taken out of his hand.

so Nugget fans are saying their front court is clearly better than Cleveland and what is holding them back is their terrible backcourt which is clearly worse than Cleveland's? I thought Denver fans were also saying Iverson was having an all-star season . . . hard to say both.

No, I would say that Denver has a much better front court, and a much better back court, and are a much better team.

 @ this

Denver frontcourt >> Cavs frontcourt

The Cavs are barely over .500 in the east and that isn't purely on their backcourt. They have a nice frontcourt but its not as good as Denver. Remember that Nene and Kmart are still recovering from injury. Nene hasn't even started to dominate yet but he will.
