Chris Paul vs. Jason Kidd

Post#1 » by smokersarejokers » Wed Jan 9, 2008 3:16 pm

Who would you say is better right now?

I'm not talking their entire careers or for the future, but just this season right now. Who do you take?

That explains everything... Apparently Bargnani is just too quick for the refs.

I would take Chris Paul over Nash and I would take Nash over Baron and I would take Baron over Deron and I would take Deron over Kidd so I think that should answer ur question

Assuming this is serious, Chris Paul. Whenever nate33 posts his in-depth PG statlines, Chris Paul is at the top, and Kidd is dead last. Paul is leading an "overachieving" team, Kidd is leading an "underachieving" team.

I mean I could really go on and on. This year it is easily Chris Paul. This goes for pretty much any PG in the league you compare him to. He's been the best PG in the NBA through 30+ games.

cp3 and the hornets are winning games

hornets record > nets record

ps. kidd can have all the triple doubles he wants, if they dont amount to team wins = statpadder

This isn't even close. Paul >>> Kidd

Paul is the best PG in the league right now. Kidd isn't even in the top 5.

In this years playoffs I would rather have Jason Kidd.

I know he steps his game up in the playoffs.. Right now we haven't seen what Paul can do in the playoffs.

Jason Kidd is on the decline, he's still a top PG, but his defense has slipped below Chris', Similar assists, with Paul being a lot let turnover prone, and Paul is twice the scorer, on much better efficiency.

Kidd is a monstrous rebounder right now, but Chris has always been a solid rebounder anyway, he just plays on a tremendous rebounding team. I wouldn't be surprised if he averaged 6 or so on the Nets.

I'd like to see those rankings if possible, interested to see where Calderon is ranked by the numbers.

Kidd is still a much better defender than Paul... Well as long as he's not guarding other point guards =/ but even I'll admit that this is Paul.

Paul is putting the ball in the basket in a way Kidd never could, even in his prime.
