Who's the better point guard to start a team with? I would say Billups.

A healthy Baron Davis IMO.

I'd take Billups. Davis is undoubtedly the better physical talent, and he is more capable of taking over a game by himself; but Billups has the subtle intellectual mastery of the point guard position. He knows when to defer to his teammates and when to take over. Billups' efficiency is incredible. He scores 22 points per 40 minutes with a .611 TS% while also dishing out 9.2 assists with just 2.8 turnovers.
I don't think you can win a championship in this league with a point guard who repeatedly takes over games all by himself. You still need some talented teammates. And I believe Billups knows how to play better alongside talented teammates.

Give me Chanceme Billups, he's not as clutch as people make him out to be but I still like him better than Avis.

I agree with Nate..
Baron is unstoppable when he's in a zone, as I saw vs. my Spurs earlier this week..but I dislike his efficiency numbers and shot selection..Billups is efficient, plays good D and is a good-team oriented player(not saying Baron isn't)..same level, but I'd take Billups slightly over him..

I take Davis. Billups can't lead the Warriors to the historic six-game "upset" over the Mavericks.

Billups is more consistent but i take Baron anyway, when he is on fire he can't be stopped and it's a top 2 or 3 PG.

Billups, he is going to play well until he retires. His skill set is perfect because he doesn't rely on quickness or athletecism (Baron does to a certain extent) and that is a big plus. He is a good shooter, thats important also. I believe he will be like Cassell, he will play well no matter how old he gets.
Billups.

naw just a championship
I'de take Billups. Not injury prone. Better defender. Better shot selection, and team player imo. B did is more talented, but when considering the total package I'de take billups.

Baron, he's the superstar on his team, while Billups has many on his.
Taking into consideration that Baron is the main focus in every team's scouting report, while Billups can be behind Hamilton and Wallace.
No doubt Billups is amazing, but Baron is my man here.

Isaiah Thomas?
I'd take Baron because I think if he had the weapons Chauncey has had on the floor with him he would have gone as far easy. (1+ championships)
Chauncey is a smart point but I can't think of a time I would have said he was a top 3 point guard in the league ever in his career where Baron at any given time when healthy could be that good.

I really hate when nate does this...
I swear to you it's like he reaches into my brain and steals my thoughts...

I'll go with Billups as well. More efficient, more consistent, better shooter, better defender and can take games over offensively when called upon.

Watching them go head to head... I'd go with Davis...

The Baron.

Baron, he is an elite scorer who can guard top offensive guards and forwards in the league (Melo, Bron, Kobe, Marion etc), and has a very versatile offensive arsenal. He can also score and defend (to an extent) in the post, something that is invaluable nowadays.
Another thing-Baron has averaged more assists than Chauncey has despite Chauncey having 2+ all star teammates.

What? Billups has no superstars on his team. Yes, he has a great supporting cast. But Nobody on their team averages 20 points if I remember right. How could you say he has superstars on his team
