Give me the guy on the Celtics. Queen is probably better at playing larger minutes than House since House is easier to exploit on defense but realistically speaking though neither player should be playing big minutes anyway...

House is the more specialized player but he's damn good at what he specializes in.

House for a contender, Cook for a rebuilding team.

Seeing as they are both used now as spot up shooters for the most part, I would go with House right now. He's the wily vet, knows his role, and is exceedingly confident no matter what the situation.

However, Cook is the better ballhandler. He's also already a much better slasher, is way more athletic, and can finish very strong at the rim . He's also got size on House.

So yeah, basically if I'm Boston I'm keeping House, and Cook is fine on Miami.

House.

As good as Cook is, or can be, he's a rookie and prone to those 'rookie' mistakes that you see on a nightly basis.....

House right now, but if you're planning for the future, definitely Cook.

House now, Cook future.. Cook has to learn his role on the floor first and get comfortable out there.. House is the more NBA ready veteran.

Cook is not just a spot up shooter...he showed he can slash and get to the line earlier in the season...his defense sucks though.

I thought I heard once from someone that he is an annoying defender, and has good hands. Might have been one of Reggies incorrect quotes or my mind is making things up.

he's an adequate defender, but that's not saying much....

he still gets lost on rotations and all.

he'll learn eventually, he's got the tools to become a pretty good overall player, especially at the offensive end.

He's got really good lateral movement, but he's too anxious so he fouls a lot.

Eddie House is too one dimensional yea he's a shooting specialist but he's way too much of liability on defense and doesn't bring much else to the table on offense besides shooting. Cook is one of the best offensive players along with Durant, Stuckey, and Nick Young in that draft. He's a huge sleeper pick. His offense game is pretty polished for young guy, but he needs to improve on his defense in order to become a complete player.

House came to Boston with the rep of being a bad defender, but he's actually been above-average in Boston. As for the comparison, I really haven't seen enough of Cook to be honest.
