Garnett vs. Duncan (Intimidation Only)
Who is the more intimidating player?
(Sorry I couldn't resist, I just thought we could use another KG vs. Duncan debate )

I think Duncan's lack of athletic ability is what makes him effective at times. Guys will test him, and he will block them and send it the other way.
BUT, when you start piling up trophies, people take notice.

To the weak minded, Garnett. To the best, Duncan.
A guy who makes his entire team unstoppable.

Not to mention his fadeaway in the post is LITERALLY unguardable. What's more scary than a guy you know you can't stop.
A guy who makes his entire team unstoppable.

Duncan doesn't have to trash talk or throw down a nasty slam or block a shot so viciously that the ball ends up in the second tier or doesn't even have to bumo his chest every other posession to show his passion or intimidate his opposition.
Any sane player knows that Tim Duncan can make his impact in the most quiet of ways. The bigger threat with Duncan is that you don't even know until you see the scoreboard to realize that that TD has 28/16. Now thats intimidation.

Thats actually a bad thing. A quiet but great game basically means that it didn't effect the game. I would hardly say that TD's game is quiet.j-far wrote:Duncan doesn't have to trash talk or throw down a nasty slam or block a shot so viciously that the ball ends up in the second tier or doesn't even have to bumo his chest every other posession to show his passion or intimidate his opposition.
