Half Way Through: Top 25 Shooting Guards

Half way through the season the shooting guard position is by far the strongest as you see their are close to 20 players capable of averaging 20 points per game. This list is based off of the ability to stay healthy, offensive ability, defensive ability, and the impact players have on a game.
1. Kobe Bryant - He has been the best player in the game, and once again has raised his impact on his team making the Lakers one of the top teams in the west without making any major changes.
2. Allen Iverson - When will this guy show his age? AI is having a great season on both ends of the floor.
3. Brandon Roy - What an improvement from last year, Roy is becoming one of the best leaders in the game taking his team too the next level. Did anyone expect them to be a playoff team even if Oden was healthy?
4. Dwyane Wade - Has played banged up, it seems hes lost his 4th quarter takeover ability a little, as the Heat have a terrible record in the 4th quarter.
5. Joe Johnson - Hes an all around player, shoots well, passes well, rebounds well, he does it all.
6. Michael Redd - Redd is the top shooter in the game at this point, many of us have been waiting for him to show that he can lead the Bucks but it seems like he cant do it without another player, proven by the fact that he played better with the USA team than he has this season.
7. Vince Carter - What a waste of talent, he has it in him to be number one but it really seems like he only trys when he wants to or when theyre are incentives for him.
8. Manu Ginobli - Coming off the bench Manu has played great and is keeping the Spurs in the playoffs.
9.Richard Hamilton - quietly has been the most consistent player on the Pistons for years now averaging 19 ppg which leads the team.
10. Kevin Martin - If he had played more games he would be much higher on this list with his 25 ppg average but he has missed time with a few nagging injuries, I dont know how his shots always go in with that ugly hitch, but it does.
11. Tracy McGrady
12. Ray Allen
13. Jason Richardson
14. Jamal Crawford
15. Ben Gordon
16. Mike Dunleavy Jr.
17. Mike Miller
18. Kevin Durant
19. Monta Ellis
20. Leandro Barbosa
21. Rashad McCants
22. Raja Bell
23. Anthony Parker
24. Ronnie Brewer
25. Deshawn Stevenson
