Darko Milicic will be better than Dikembe Mutombo
Before someone flames ME, it was not my statement. On a official Grizzlies forum, a "intelligent" poster said Darko would be
"not as good defensively (but not far off) and a dominant scorer, so yeah, he will be better player."

This statement has two major flows..DarkoMilicic wrote:Before someone flames ME, it was not my statement. On a official Grizzlies forum, a "intelligent" poster said Darko would be

1)Mutombo in his prime was light-years ahead of Darko defensively.
2)Even Darko wouldn't call himself a "dominant" scorer. At this moment he does not even resemble a passable scorer.Mutombo was actually a better scorer than Darko..
Then you add the fact that Mutombo kills Darko in rebounding and this statement is a joke.

Dikembe Mutombo is a four-time DPOY who knew his offensive limitations, and still averaged over 10 ppg for eleven consecutive seasons on extremely good percentages.
Darko is young, but has regressed in every aspect of his game...he has recorded one double-double in his last 29 games. His offense has also fallen off; he has the second worst TS% of any big man this year, trailing only the incomparable Ben Wallace.
One might be a Hall of Famer; the other is involved in an epic struggle of disappointing #2 overall selections for minutes on a rebuilding team in his fifth season. There is no comparison.

Well you can't compare them on the court.... but you can compare them in the amounts they get mocked.
