Wow, for PGs these guys have atrocious FT %'s.
Ill take Rondo, but its pretty damn close if you ask me.

Farmer is better offensively, Rondo is better defensively. If I were starting a team, I'd probably choose Farmer as my starting point guard because he plays with an edge that I like to see in any PG.

Rondo, better playmaker and defender, more efficient, and has a much better ast/to ratio.

I'd pick Rondo because his more of a point guard than Farmar

Rondo because he's a quick and nimble pointguard who can blow right by you if you arent careful.

Rondo. As long as he promises to add some more muscle / bulk up so he doesn't get hurt every other play.

Farmar's numbers extrapolated to Rondo's mpg:
14.4 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 4.26 apg, 1.6 spg
Farmar's also fairly clutch, IMO.
Tough. I value defense a whole lot though, and Rondo's much better on that end of the floor, so i'd say Rondo.

I'd take Rondo, he's a great defender and the better play maker.

I think Rondo is the slightly better overall player right now... But I think Farmar will peak higher

They both aren't very good.

I'll take Farmar because he's a floor general and he can hit the jumper. He's far better offensively IMO. Rondo has it easy on offense and defense because of the big 3.

Efficient in what way? If you mean scoring, you're blatantly wrong.
He shoots a higher percentage and turns it over at a lower rate. He also has a higher PER.

the correct answer is Crittenton
if you have to choose from these two scrubs i would choose Farmar.

farmar, rondos d is overrated. farmar has been finishing out games for the lakers and is a better playmaker imo

Rondo. I need someone who can play defense and pass the ball and take it to the rack to create if need be.
Rondo ass/turn: 2.43
Farmar ass/turn: 1.93
And fg% counts how many shots you miss. It doesn't matter if you're shooting a 3 or not you still missed the shot and the other team has the ball.
If were talking shooting skills then TS% is good.
But that's what I look for in a PG, defense and ass/turn ratio.
As for game winners, Rondo just riped an offensive rebound from Dirk last night and layed up the game winning point. Ask Toronto fans about an overtime 3 pointer. Rondo's clutch as well.
edit: I just read my post and realized it came off a little strong. I think Rondo=Farmar just diffrent styles of PGs and I like Rondo's better.

FYI, in case it's being overlooked, Rondo is playing 10 more minutes than Farmar.
OT - I forgot I posted this. Is there a way to keep track of my posts?

Rondo is better than Farmar in every facet of the game except long range shooting

Then you haven't seen any Lakers games. Every broadcaster has said that Farmar is a legit starter already while people in Boston are still trying to make him a backup PG with someone else starting.
