Next year if given minutes, Blatche is going to put up Gerald Wallace type numbers.

Does Blatche have any outside shot?

I know Wallace' doesnt have a great shot but hes still a threat and needs to be guarded from out there. Blatche is a different player, hes a good defensive player like Wallace but other than that I dont see the comparison.

Not really.

Gerald Wallace is much more of a SG/SF. He's got much better quickness than Blatche.

Blatche is 6-11 with freakishly long arms so he gets steals and blocks, but he's not an ultra quick athlete like Wallace. Blatche is definitely a PF/C, not a swing man

Blatche plays much more like a poor man's Garnett. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he'll ever be nearly as good as Garnett, but he has the same kind of game.

Right now, he has average or better skills in nearly every facet of the game. He can shoot, dribble, pass, handle, rebound and defend; but he isn't particularly great at any one thing except weakside shot blocking. And he is still very prone to mental mistakes and fouls.

As his basketball IQ improves, he should evolve into a very complete player once he puts it all together. He needs to get in better shape too.

He hasn't yet shown consistent enough scoring skills to ever be a #1 option on offense. I think, instead, he'll evolve into a high quality role player. I can see him averaging 16 points, 10 boards, 2 blocks and 1.5 steals with good D. He's the kind of guy who might be the third best player on a team and play well at both ends of the court, but he probably won't be a big time star.

wouldn't he be a poor-man's Shawn Marion instead of KG?

I would wet myself if Blatche turned out like KG or G-Force, both are two of my favorite players in the league.

Or Shawn Marion for that matter.
