If you HAD to, who would you choose?

Post#1 » by Slotback » Thu Feb 7, 2008 12:35 am

I've been going through most of the team forums, and have come to the conclusion that Shaquille O'Neal, Ben Wallace and Vince Carter are the players that no one wants on their team. Now this is not to say that they aren't decent players, but factoring their salaries and years remaining on their contract they've become burdens on their teams (I believe Shaq will be a terrible fit on Phoenix).

Assuming your team HAD to take on one of these players (factoring in their contract as well), which player would you choose?

I'm more curious to see which player receives the least amount of votes.

P.S. Don't say none, just choose one.

For the Warriors, Vince. Nelson would just put the other two on the bench and let them rot, VC might actually be useful.

Vince Carter on the Warriors would be reborn into the all-star that he once was. Now if only we didn't trade him on draft day for Antawn Jamison. :nonono:

Mavs take either Shaq, who actually can score down low (not to mention his special chemistry wich Erick Dampier  ) and then VC because we have no legit SG. We already have a good Ben clone with Diop, who also earns only about 0.00000000001% of Big Ben's mindblowing salary.

VC is a 2nd fiddle player. He isn't all-star worthy he's on a team full of bums and he's the biggest.

   As a DAL fan, I like to jeer about Big Ben because the pain of our own overpaid C (Dampier) becomes more bearable.
