In terms of stats, this is surprisingly close. However, let me say this, I'll take a healthy Peja but in the real world I'll take AP.

This is an insult to Peja Stojakovic.
He's playing hurt, but when the man is healthy, it's no contest. Parkers .492% FG stat is inflated. Peja attempts 6.4 3's a game, and he makes 46% of them, which is plain RIDICULOUS.
Parker is a great, great role player, nothing more, nothing less. Peja on the other hand can single handedly deliver you victories (like last night.)
Before the Raps guys come in here and go nuts, yes, Parker has the better defense, but Peja is better, and as his back heals more and more each day, he is becoming more of a deadly threat for the Hornets.

I'll take Parker. He plays defense, and much cheaper.
Peja may have a better offensive game (shooter), but Parker's been more efficient this season.

Hitting a game winning shot is single handedly winning you a game? Chris Paul single handedly won that game last night, Stojakovic hit a lucky fadeaway jumper to seal the deal.
That 49% isn't inflated at all, sure he's shooting lights out and it probably will start to go down as the season wears on, but Parker takes a lot of 3 point shots.
I think they've been pretty even this season, however Peja in his prime was better by a fair margin. And I'd probably take the current Peja over Parker, too. But the real question here is whether he can stay healthy or not.

I think for me it would depend on the depth of my team. The thing is that when Peja gets going, he is really ridiculous and really can win you games. But if Peja's shots not falling, he's pretty useless (not a terrible player still because of his over all skill, but definitely not an asset), whereas Parker has other parts of his game to rely on. So if I had a decent backup, I would take Peja. If not, probably Parker.
If that's not known either way, I'd take Peja.

It's surprisingly close...still, on track record, I think you have to go with Peja.
