Can you name a better pair of big men age 22 or younger in the NBA than the Hawks' Josh Smith and Al Horford?

let's see...Horford is 6'9.5 and Josh Smith is 6'8.5. Can you really call them a pair of "bigs"?

They're easily the best right now. Chances are that will change once Oden arrives. It's funny because they aren't really a pair of bigs like Wizenheimer said. But they play real big. I'm sure Ilgauskas had nightmares last night after what Josh did to him.

Mini twin towers

Smith/Horford look to prove that a 6'9/6'10 front court can indeed succeed in the NBA.
They have to be the best right now but for obvious reasons the Oden/Aldridge could overtake them next year.
Although they could be on their level.
Because although Oden has more upside than Horford, the same can be said of Josh Smith over Aldridge.

Funny because the Hawks seem to have the Magic's number

I realize they are just over the age gap but the twin Wolves look pretty good:
C Smith (24)
Al Jeff (23)
Maybe they should be considered.

Aldridge and Oden and it isn't even a competition... not even close. If you vote for another pair you are either an idiot or a huge homer that is blind.

I must be blind because I have never seen Oden play a lick of NBA ball. Please enlighten me to how he has been doing. Is he on the All-Rookie Team? Oh yeah how many double doubles does he have. What is his career high? I am blind so please help me see straight. I don't know what I am missing here.

You'd think it would be pretty easy to understand, eh?

I'd take Dwight + any other big over the Hawks duo even though I like Horford's game and Smith has really started to become less of a headcase and more of an actual basketball player.

funny thing is;
other than dh12, the magic doesn't have any other big that is younger than 22. so, "dwight+ any other big" can't be an option here. :p

we haven't even seen oden play so to put him and aldridge isn't fair.

Well this was taken from an article written by our beat writer.
The question is fairly obviously slated in favor of Josh and Al because it says:
Can you name a better pair of big men age 22 or younger in the NBA than the Hawks' Josh Smith and Al Horford?
Which means Oden - Aldridge doesn't really count because Oden isn't really in the NBA right now.
Saying Howard plus anyone or something is stupid because because Howard's partner in the froncourt is older... so I don't really know.
Anyway, if you answer Sekou's question than, no you probably can't find a more productive pair of big men right now.
If you wanted to stretch it and say under 24 so you could consider the TWolves pair, I'd still say the Hawks. If you wanted to include Oden and Aldridge, than yeah, probably those guys.
