How would you rank these teams? Currently all have the same record 32-20, Houston is the hottest team right now but really all 3 teams are winning games.

From a biased perspective (as a W's fan) I'd say

1. Houston
2. Golden State
3. Denver

Denver
Houston
Golden State

I like the Nuggets a lot, my second favorite team, so it may be biased. I really do think they are the best of the 3 though.

Warriors are the best of all three I think

Houston>Denver>GSW

Considering that all three are only 4.5 games out of first place, it's not even a sure bet that it'll be one of those three that gets left out of the playoffs. Gotta go with the obvious, but of the 9 teams fighting for the playoffs out West (sorry Portland), the team that misses it will be the one hit worst by injury.

The Hornets are the best team out West right now, but they're a Chandler or Paul injury away from missing the playoffs, as crazy as that sounds. Believe it or not, Dallas and San Antonio too.

All I know is that every round of the Western Conference playoffs is gonna be insane.

As for the order, I don't see Denver keeping up with either the Dubs or Rox, but they could still easily make it if one of the other 8 teams gets a significant injury.

Houston's been the best lately, we'll see if that holds up. Denver is the most likely to fall out the bottom.

Any big injury and... any team in the west is done.

Rockets have the talent edge but seem to lack heart, Warriors have the coaching edge but any team that relies on as inconsistent a star as Baron Davis will be too streaky to go far, Denver would be my pick if you could promise their core all stays healthy.

Denver has it the easiest, because they're not even two games back in their division. They still have a great shot to end up as the 4th seed.....where as Houston and Golden State will be hard pressed to catch up to Dallas/New Orleans and Phoenix.

I think in the long run Houston will end up with the best advantage they have there role players finally hitting there shots down, they are running the ball more then they were and both there offense and defense is clicking.

I'm a little biased, but I like my team Houston here. We can beat any team in the league with a center who can get the job done and the T-Mac factor. We're not playing that well, but we are still winning. Our lack of decisiveness and success in playoffs currently is counting against us.

I like Golden State second, of course they have their limitations like every other team. A team like Utah eats them alive and the Lakers have the wood over them too. Yet they are the Dallas/Phoenix stopper.

Not really liking Denver at the moment. Could either be a top-4 seed or no playoffs for them. I don't know why they aren't better than 32-20 right now to be honest. Something's wrong.

I hate all three of these teams with a passion so this should be pretty unbiased.

Houston has won a lot of game recently, but looking at their schedule it isn't saying much. Seattle twice, Portland twice, Indiana, Milwaukee, Cavs with no Gooden, Minnesota, Atlanta, and Sacramento. Those are all pretty poor teams, so I can't give them too much credit.

Golden State Warriors are very erratic, they win a lot of games they shouldn't and lose a lot of games they shouldn't. ALso they are way to up and down with their attitudes on the floor and everyone knows small ball only takes you so far.

Denver is again fighting the injury bug which is crappy for them, their road play is improved as of late and I think the all-star break will help their big guys get some much needed rest. They always tend to pick it up at the end of the season so I wouldn't count them out.

My list goes as follows:

1) Denver: Always a good second half team, and they should only be getting healthier.

2) Houston: As long as they stay healthy they will come in at the 7th or 8th spot and be a pain for any of the top teams they play in the playoffs.

3) Golden State: Nice run last year, and they have survived this year but as the season continues on the small ball will stop working, teams will start to play harded to make the playoffs and I don't see the Warriors having another gear to stay it the race.

Some of you are really overrating star power. The Nugs have troubles controlling their egos, and they're injured a lot. The Rox are too- TMac and Yao can't stay healthy and IMO can't be consistent first options.

1.Denver- Too much talent with Anthony, Iverson, Camby and Martin to miss the playoffs.

2.Houston/Golden State- Toss up, both are just to even for me to decide who gets the 8th spot.

Weren't you the same poster who suggested Nellie should have been fired after the Warriors 0-6 start?

I'm sorry but It's hard for me to take anyone's POV seriously after posting a crazy suggestion like that.
