If you replaced Jordan in the 90's with Lebron James, how many titles would the Bulls have won?
Jordan won 6 titles in 8 years.
The Lineup would be through the years
Kerr/Armstrong/Paxson
Lebron/Meyers
Pippen/Kukoc
Grant/Rodman/scott williams
Purdue/Wennington/Longley
I think they get 4 rings. The East was dominated at that time by the Bulls, they had no one who could challenge them even in the entire NBA. Also Lebron wouldn't have to worry about the scoring load and carrying the team with great players around him.
If Lebron could get to the finals with a player that is top 10 worst all time player, and a descent big man, then he should be able to do so with one that has top role players and another star in Pippen.
WHAT DO YOU THINK?!11!

(This following post is made without the effect of difference in era's)
No rings.
Bulls relied so heavily on the Jordan/Pippen tandem on defense, that you just couldn't insert someone with average defense and have the same flow. Jordan was also the much more effecient player on both ends, which resulted in a lot of easy points for the Bulls. LeBron would not give the Bulls the same amount of easy buckets as well as taking advantage of the opposing defense, that Jordan did. One of the things that made Jordan great was that he didn't take unnecessary shots. If the lane looked open, he would drive it every single time.
LeBron is a terrific player, but the has yet to understand when to take the right shot. He could be shooting 55% if he had a better shot-selection, but he has a tendency to settle for jumpshots when there's an open lane.

Lebron is good, but he can't do what MJ did in the playoffs on a regular basis. MJ was the greatest playoff performer ever.

Maybe 1 or 2 in the early 90s. No way they would beat the mid-90s Magic.

90-91: Maybe, although Jordan put up a monster line in the Finals, the Bulls won in 5. James could produce well enough for the Bulls to still pull it out. If he could've taken them that far...again, maybe.
91-92: Not seeing James take the Bulls past the Knicks. Just no. No need to mention the Cavs or Blazers, those teams would've been playing the Knicks.
92-93: He wouldn't have a series like Jordan did against the Suns. No.
95-96: Jordan was the engine on that team. Without him being pissed about his failure in the playoffs the year before, they wouldn't have been close to 72 wins. They're be on the road against the Sonics, and that assumes they'd beat the Magic. Probably would lose to one of them. Maybe, though.
96-97: Can't really see him doing Jordan's heroics.
97-98: Same as above.
So maybe 2.
