so cmaff or other idiot from the KNicks board that thinks Nate is better than Thabo, and also thinks Collins actually deserves to be in the NBA, please post your explanation here.

explain how since a 3 year player instead of a 2 year player, on a worse team, who plays more minutes, which allows him more shots because his team sucks, is a better player.

Nate is a role player, and I'm a Knicks fan. The only players on our team who would start on another team are Randolph and Lee, and even Lee is vastly overrated because he is compared to trash on the knicks.

he is like the mediocre looking girl, who makes sure she has friends who are fat and ugly to make herself look better.

One belongs in the NBA, one doesn't. I don't think much explanation beyond that is needed.

Aside from the freak show-esque leaping ability, I'm not sure what else Nate is good for other than being a piece of

Sefolosha. He struggled earlier this year, but he may still become a legit NBA starter and is already the better defender. I put Nate's ceiling at about Earl Boykins.

I've just been really impressed with his play lately. He's going to be a solid guard.

Thabo. He's got the longest wingspan of any two guard in the league and is already a near lockdown defender. His offense is streaky, but i'll take it with the great rebounding from the 2 position in addition to the defense.

Nate can be a nice spark plug off the bench long-term, but Thabo has the potential to be a long-term starter in a similar mold to Doug Christie.

I think Nate is alrady better than Earl Boykins, he has been pretty good this year and is certaintly better than just a high flying freak show, hes a good shooter and this season has become a pretty decent defender, he may be really small but he is strong as hell and isnt afraid of bigger players, I think he will be a really good bench player that could start when players are hurt but I would never want him to be my starter for an 82 game season unless I was trying to get a high pick. Thabo can be a starter in this league for a good team with his size and defensive ability, I say can because I think he needs to become more consistent on the other end, if he can have a sure thing shot like Bowens corner three where a defender will have to watch him then he will be in the league for a while. Jemini I think you should chill, Nate has been one bright spot in a very dark season for us Knick fans and if you watch the games you will see his is more than just a high flying circus freak and he can actually play basketball.

Nate is a horrible defender, I watch every game. Being a better defender than Crawford doesn't make you a decent defender. There have been no bright spots, especially not Nate. He is just a fan favorite so people can cling to him for hope, even though he will be gone by the 2010 season.

Boykins doesn't have the athletic ability or talent to get off his own shot, unlike Nate who has a combination of strength, quickness and power. I mean there's absolutely nothing aside from their size that both Boykins and Robinson have in common.

As far as who would I rather have...Robinson have proved a lot more in his short 3 year career than Thabo has. Nate is a solid shooter with range, an exceptional rebounder for a guard and has been developing his passing game with more minutes at the point. He's basically been a double digit scorer off the bench his entire career while always avg 20-23 mpg.

He may rub people off the wrong way and he might seem "annoying" at times, but he's a heck of a ball player and has a ton of room to grow, especially if he continues to develop his point guard skills. Sefelosha is an inconsistent shooter/scorer and has ways to go to developing a strong, well rounded offensive game. His best trait may be defense because of his long arms and athleticism, but he's far from being a great defender where one could omit his flaws on offense.

And Nate isn't a horrible defender like you say he is. I would say he's an inconsistent defender, which may very well be his fault, but when you're on a team with guys like Curry, Jamal and Randolph who QUIT defensively, it's difficult to fully assess Nate's ability on the defensive end on this team.

You put him on the Pistons or Spurs and this guy would wreck havoc on opposing guards defensviely w/ a coach like Popovich or a system set in Detroit where defense is stressed.

Nate is averaging 11/3/3 in just 22 mpg. If he started he could easily put up around 15/4/4. Hes never going to be a star but hes not a scrub either. The man can score whenever he wants, even at his height.

Do you guys who voted for Thabo even watch basketball games or just the highlights on ESPN? Nate is the clear better of the two. As a collective the Knicks suck but we do have some talented players individually and Nate is one of them. He's better then Thabo now and will be better then him in the future.

from your biased reponses in the other thread, you have basically admitted to not watching Thabo play. You also seem to fall under the ignorant Knick fans who actually think Randolph Morris can rebound or defend, considering he was horrible at both in college.
