Who was more of an athletic freak?

Take into account

strength
speed
vertical

and anything else.

Young Shaq makes Dwight look unathletic.

Shaq actually completed that superman dunk in a game, but i don't think he got as high as Howard. Howard's another level of freak.

People forget how athletic Shaq was. Well okay I am not sure i he can jump as high as Dwight but with the body mass that he had -- If Lebron is a freight train, I dunno how you describe Shaq. A young Shaq can rin the fastbreak as great as Amare.

Shaq in his heyday was one of the most dominant players in NBA history.

LeBron is an incredible, versatile, athletic talent. He's like a PG in a PF's body. But it's not really fair to compare anyone in the modern era to Shaq... except Jordan, who won so many rings.

Shaq, perfect big man body that can dominate in the half court game AND transition. Put athletic Shaq on the current Phoenix Suns team and they would be one of the best teams ever.

Dwight Howard might be faster and can jump higher, but Shaq put his extra 30 pounds to very good use (i.e. plowing over defenders).

Dominate Centers > Dominate Guards/Forwards.

Unless its Jordan.

The only player in NBA history that I would pick over Prime Shaq is Jordan.

Shaq, Lebron and Howard are all freaks of nature. However a young to prime Shaq was something to behold. A true wonder of the world. There isn't anything I've seen Lebron or Howard do that I didn't see Shaq do 15 years ago.

Howard is like 95% Shaq.
Lebron is like a cross between Shaq and Jordan. The kind of in between freak.

Can you imagine an all athletic freak lineup with Phil Jackson and the triangle offense:

SG1 Michael Jordan
SG2 Kobe Bryant
PointF Lebron James
PF Dennis Rodman
C Shaquille Oneal

The 5 perfect players both ways(even Dennis) for the triangle offense with different players being able to initiate the offense but primary ball handling responsibilities between MJ and Lebron. I think MJ leads in scoring with Kobe and Shaq being 2 and 3. Lebron would probably avg a triple double if he could get enough rebs with Shaq and Dennis down low. Shaq easily avgs a double double but with 5+ asts.

I dont know but that would be out of this world.
