Rank the Starting PG for the top 9 in the West

Post#1 » by keepthenetsinnj » Mon Feb 25, 2008 10:48 pm

The Western Conference is so chaotic, and they have pretty much all of the elite PG in the NBA right now with the exception of Chauncey Billups. Rank the Top 9 in the West when it comes to the distributors:

Derek Fisher
Chris Paul
Tony Parker
Steve Nash
Deron Williams
Jason Kidd
Rafer Alston
Anthony Carter (tell me if you would consider Iverson the starting PG)
Baron Davis

I go with AI as the Denver PG because I like a AI/JR Smith backcourt better than Carter/AI

Paul/Williams (the future of PG play in the NBA)
Davis (should be the best but seems to melt down at the wrong times)
Nash (he still is a HUGE liability on defense)
Parker (when healthy he can take over games)
Kidd (good thing dirk and Howard can shoot, cause JKidd can't)

Fish (a steadying influence on a great Laker team)

Alston/Carter: These guys are the reason its hard to take their teams seriously as championship contenders. If either Houston or Denver had upgraded this spot, they would have to be considered as potential champions.

IMO Baron will dominate the postseason again this year. It will be up to the rest of the Warriors to step up if they will go deep.
