Pierce is easily the better player, but Pau may be more valuable because he's a 7' PF/C

Pierce is amazing but its just harder to bring what Pau brings to the table.

I'd rather have Pau.. Legit post player that plays defense.. that's real hard to find in the NBA..

Pierce. He can explode offensively at any given time and set up his team-mates and play some great defense.

Pau doesn't though.

I would take Pierce here. I know that big > small, but Pierce is just a lot more talented

I'd take Pierce, regardless of Gasol's size..

Paul has improved his D, and has been an MVP candidate when KG was out..Gasol's advantage in the post isn't a huge factor to me..he isn't on an elite level like a Duncan or Garnett, or even an Elton Brand..

Even with Pau being a big would have have anyone chosen Pau over Pierce 45 days ago?

The big over small argument works when the players of the same skill, but would you take Jermaine O'Neal over Lebron?

Thats like choosing a broken CD-Player that skips if you touch it in any way and only works for like 10 minutes every 5 hours over a Brand Spanking new I-Pod.
