And in essence, the best point guard in the league. But after watching Paul play the past couple of games, I have to say this guy will be the front runner for years to come.

That's true. But Davis is an amazing point guard. He'll be even better if he didn't take dumb shots everytime

Baron has the perfect tools to be the best point guard in the league.
Just if he used them properly ...

Chris Paul is no doubt the best PG in the league ATM

true, but baron is the most consistent all-around player, for example last night game he was 2-16 from the field, but he still found other ways to contribute, he had 10 assist, 5 rebounds, 2 blocks, 2 stl, and he played great defense like always.

Must be true, if it's a rumor you read on Hoopshype.

Yeah, Baron is easily the most talented PG in the league. His strength, quickness, court-vision and range on his shot, he can do whatever he wants on the court at any time, just at times he can settle too much. Still a great player though.

And agreed with CP3 being the best PG in the league as well.

If we were talking top 10, I'd have put in a long-long, post about Calderon. But we Toronto fans are not as far deluded to believe we have a top point guard [or sg, sf, pf, C] in the league.

Give us more credit that that.

I'm not really sure what this thread is about. How Paul has taken the torch for best point guard in the league form Baron? Since when was Baron the top point guard in the league? [I'd say fifth]

Baron would be better if he could shoot free throws

Baron has a physical package and skillset that anyone would drool over. Before his Warrior days/a year ago, I saw him as somewhat a waste of potential. Now he's starting to live up to his full potential, albeit kinda late, especially under Nellie.

He didn't say Kobe is the best all around player, he said Kobe was a better all around player than Baron Davis. So you either disagree that Kobe isn't a better all around player than Davis or your an idiot.
