If I had to choose I'de go with Team A

First I think the teamates compliment each other a little better. Lebron can play point forward ala Pippen, and you have the best game finisher ever in Jordan. Plus two extremely atheltic bigs to hit. Though not as athletic as Wilt. Offensivly I think Deron compliments his team better then Prince compliments his playing off the ball. Team B has great offensive weapons too, but getting Magic, Wilt, Kobe, and Duncan touches where they like to get the ball would be a little harder I would think. Dunno how to explain it exacly. but I just think team A would mesh better.

Defensivly you have two of the all time greats in their prime, and KG who currently is the reason Boston has the #1 defence in the NBA. LBJ, and Derron are both good enough. I could see some speedy gaurds giving team B's perimiter problems though with a 6"6, 6"8, and 6"9 players. They are still an amazing defensive team, I'de just give team A the slight edge. Rebounding's probably pretty even .

^Hendrix I agree 100% with what you said . However if anyone pick team B I won't disagree with that, because its really close call, you can go either way.

As good as he was, Hakeem's rep has grown here significantly beyond what is justified. Wilt would flat out abuse him. Kobe, as little as I like him, would have a field day playing with a prime Wilt, who was an amazing passer. Not to mention Magic--with two passers like Wilt and Magic, Kobe might actually match or exceed Wilt and score a hundred by himself. There's no way, IMO, Team A comes out on top of Team B on a consistent basis.

I knew when I read this it would be team A most would pick--because according to the conventional wisdom (which I reject) any team with Jordan is automatically going to win--right?

I would take team B quite easily imo. A Wilt-Duncan frontcourt? The best C and the best PF of all time? With the best PG as well?

Team A, pretty easily IMO

Team A has the GOAT, n bigmen who matchup very well against team B's freakish Wilt/TD frontcourt

Of course Deron isn't anywhere near Magic, but he's still a physical defender with size that can at least do a decent defensive job all the while being an excellent playmaker and floor general.
Then Team B has by far the worse player of the bunch in Prince, LBJ just craps on him

Wilt > Hakeem
Tim Duncan > Kevin Garnett
Prince < LeBron
Kobe < Jordan
Magic > Deron

Wilt beats Hakeem soundly, Timmy D and KG are close, but I like the Big Fundemental, Prince and LeBron [why is Prince playing with a bunch of MVP calibre players?] is the biggest miss match of the two line ups, while a prime Jordan is just better than Kobe but a prime Magic would chew Deron up.

You should talk, you act like any team with Wilt will win. The only thing I can tell you is that Jordan never lost a series if his team had equal talent or more than another team and if he had homecourt advantage.
No one else on that list can say that that has played in 10 series or more.
As far as Hakeem is concerned, well of course Wilt is better than Hakeem, but don't act like he is miles ahead of him. The difference between Wilt and Hakeem is pretty much the same between MJ and Hakeem as well.

Maybe not. Kareem is the only center IMO within shouting distance of Wilt all time. It would have been a much more even matchup than Wilt vs Hakeem.

The PG and small F are mismatches, while the others are pretty close. I'd take B.

Team B's defense would be able to contain Lebron. Even if MJ was in bold, which im assuming he was supposed to be, i pick team B.

Wilt and Duncan is not beatable unless some MJ or Lebron homers come in here.

Simply put team B's defense is on another level than team A's.

the fact that Williams would have to guard Magic basically makes it no contest.

plus Duncan is just SO much better than KG.

I think if you had a better PF from Team A it might be closer, or if you put Hakeem at PF since he could match up with Duncan and put another Center like Kareem it would be closer.

I agree with you except for Duncan is SO much better than KG. Better, probably, but SO? No way.
