Better Frontline:

Post#1 » by Taiwan Killa » Mon Mar 3, 2008 1:52 am

What would be a better frontline

Marion
Amare
Shaq

or

Odom
Gasol
Bynum

Assume the Suns traded Diaw, Barbosa, or something else for Shaq instead.

Stoudemire is a lot better than Gasol, especially in the playoffs.

STAT loves the Spurs too, I'm sure he was delighted to burn them for 40 a night

Shaq looks terrible. He and Odom are missing more point blank layups than.....well Kwame.

Marion = Odom in the regular season. Postseason I think Odom brings more to the table. All those fastbreak easy layups don't come as easy for Marion

Amare > Gasol Gasol is a great compliment to Lakers but he isn't a great lowpost threat. He gets pinned at the basket a lot. Jumpshot is off and on. Amare's offense is great, defense is Camby like in that he is a great weak side shot blocker but soft when players go right at him

Shaq < Bynum Shaq is shooting 41% from the FT line since joining Phx. 1.3 blks, 1.7 assts, nearly 10 reb's and 10 points. Playing 28 mpg. I think Bynum destroys Shaq now in all phases. He could probably play Shaq on his dislocated kneecap........
I'm so tired of the typical......

Marion>Odom at everything...offense, defense, rebounding, on the break...
Look at the suns now...it shows how much of a key marion was to them.
