Who do you got? It's tough for me right now since the King is on a new level right now that he wasn't at last season..

People should really read the MVP thread before they make any player comparison that involves Kobe or Lebron.

Wade when healthy. All you need to do is see what he did in the finals when it mattered most.

Wade's one finals performance was superior to Kobe's three?

I wouldn't call Kobe Bryant's 2004 finals appearance superior.

Kobe had a prime Shaq who opened the driving lanes AND dominated down low. Wade had a 'dominating' Shaq who contributed something like 13 ppg in the Finals...so yeah...

I seem to remember Shaq being considered for MVP that year, right?

Has anyone taken Defense into account ? Kobe all the way ... not just based on this performance either ... he's been doing it all his career

4th quarter so we are talking the entire 12 minutes, so you would have to pick the all around best player. Which is obviously Kobe, not to mention his last shot ability as well.

kobe...the king is really really good but still a defensive liability, i dont know about wade's defense either. kobe has the all around game on offense and defense, this year just look at the last game kobe play against heats, wade was taken to school

Nope. That was his first year in Miami - 2004-2005. In 2005-2006 he got hurt and he wasn't the same after that.

I guess you missed the "when healthy" disclaimer.

You remember wrong because that was in 2005.

I think last year before he got hurt and before Shaq returned, Wade was leading the league in 4th qtr points.
