How good would this team be:
PG: Beno Udrih
SG: John Salmons
SF: Stephen Jackson
PF: Luis Scola
C: Tim Duncan
Coach: PJ Carlesimo
GM: Kevin Pritchard
Luckily, the Spurs are very generous with their superfluous talent.

Turkoglu was a reject too, missing a couple that I forgot.

How was Duncan a reject exactly?

Some people just love to split hairs.
Hedo's a good one, but he wasn't drafted by the Spurs. Barbosa is another one that you could add.

lol...wondering how this list looks for other teams....I dont understand timmy beeing on the list
and I'm pretty sure the spurs would do all of these things again, as it freed up capspace and so on
thats why they are a great franchise...they build from the draft and are smart enought not to go isiah and hand out big contracts, that are not worth the players (even rasho wasnt that bad)

Um, it's hardly splitting hairs when it violates the only rule for picking and is by far the largest determinant of what the the answer to the question is (how good the team is).

Sigh... completely missing the point. The underlying message is that if the Spurs built a team around Duncan completely with players they gave up on, it would still be a pretty good team. I suppose I have to state everything literally for some people to understand.

yeah...it like asking how the best rebounding team with only under 6'foot players would look like and putting dwight howard at center!

Do you people think I'm an idiot or something? I obviously don't think Duncan is a reject. The question is, how good would a team be if it was players the Spurs franchise gave away practically for free around Duncan? You'd think people would understand that seeing Tim Freaking Duncan on the team.

It's ok dude, I understand what you were saying. Like all teams lead by Tim Duncan they would probably do no worse than 54 games won and get into the 2nd round.

Dude, your an idiot for thinking that someone is going to read in your mind. You need to make things clear you know.
If that was the question you should have said so to begin with, instead of being vague with your question.

heck, all your Rapter starters but Bosh played together in Toronto Tmac's rookie year with a couple of other good pieces like All-D swingman Doug Christie plus Chauncy Billups being brought in for Stoudamire . . . (and the team still sucked). Got to have some team spirit as well as talent.
