we all know who the better player is now, but who do you start your team with? Both young seasoned college players with great talent...who you got?

I like Horford...like...a lot. But Roy is a leader, he can play Pg / Sg, and is really mature. I'd take him to start a franchise.
Yes I'm a homer, but all of the TnT guys agree with me

I have to go with Roy....but Horford is going to be a beast. The problem I have with Roy is his knee. I hope it holds up.

brandon roy. al horford, although showing promise, looks like a complimentary big man. roy can be a lead guard.

I agree with everyone's comments. I like Horford a lot, but Roy is already a leader. It's really not fair to compare a rookie and a sophomore though. We'll see how Horford does next season.

Roy pretty easily, more dynamic.

Because of Roy's penchant for injuries this is closer than one might think... I'd still take him over Horford though, Roy has made a pretty sizeable jump from his 1st to 2nd year in the league. It's a jump that many players don't make.

Ummm. Roy has missed 4 games this season. 2 when he was at a funeral and 2 from an ankle sprain. I understand he missed games last year from his foot injury that was never addressed but its not really an issue anymore.
Wheres all the injury concern coming from? He has a 40 inch vert but he definately doesn't depend on being athletic to play. I'd say he has a lot higher chance of being in this league a very very long time compared to Horford.

I don't think either one of them will have a hard time being in the league for a long time.
Regardless, I'm taking Roy. Just wow, another R.O.Y. that Billy Knight passed on. What an idiot.

I really really like both of these guys but if I had to pick a guy to build around I would have to break tradition and take the guard and take Roy.
