Ive done this many times before the player comparison board has been here im not sure if weve ever done it on the player compairison board but im sure its been done, not recently so lets do it.
If you could hit the reset button on the 2003 draft what would it look like? This is just a fun thing to do to see how much different teams would be if they had a crystal ball on draft night. This isnt simply the best players in order its also based on team need and things like that.
Heres a list of the playerpool http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2003_NBA_Draft to help you out with deciding players.
1. Cleveland - LeBron James
2. Detroit - Chris Bosh
3. Denver - Carmello Anthony
4. Toronto - Dwayne Wade
5. Miami - Josh Howard
6. Clippers - Chris Kaman
7. Chicago - David West
8. Bucks - Kirk Hinrich
9. New York - Mo Williams
10. Washington - T.J. Ford
11. Golden State - Leandro Barbosa
12. Seattle - Boris Diaw
13. Memphis - Nick Collison
14. Seattle - Luke Ridnour
15. Orlando - Kyle Korver
16. Memphis - Luke Walton
17. Phoenix - Travis Outlaw
18. New Orleans - Kendrick Perkins
19. Utah - Sasha Pavlovic
20. Memphis (via Boston) - Darko Milicic (based on potential if he hadnt been with Larry Brown)
21. Atlanta - Zaza Pachulia
22. New Jersey - Jason Kapono
23. Portland - Steve Blake
24. Lakers - Mikael Pietrus
25. Detroit - Keith Bogans
26. Minnesota - James Jones
27. Boston (via Memphis) - Brian Cook
28. San Antonio - Carlos Delfino
29. Dallas - Michael Sweetney (id like to think that Johnson would have kept him in shape and not have let him eat himself out of the league like Skiles did)
30. Charlotte - Willie Green
with the 33rd pick in that draft eh Miami Heat selected Jerome Beasley I thought that was kind of funny.
What would yours look like?
What would be the most interesting change in team to see, for me its probably Chris Bosh being with the Detroit Pistons and how dominant they would be right now with him on the team instead of drafting Darko the bust.
