shoul'dve left it top 10. I wanted to include both Okur and Battier but a top 11 just doesn't flow right. Had to go for a 12th pick just to survive the scorn of Knick fans I chose Curry. I do agree though I'd pick Hatwood over Curry.

Kwame Brown scouting report:

Weaknesses: Inconsistency. Like any 18 year old coming straight to the league will take his lumps and see plenty of pine. Some have questions about his competiveness.

Strengths: Like Garnett, KB has freakish athleticism. Already bulkier than Garnett and could turn into more of a Webber type post player. Very graceful running the floor. Tremendous leaping aility. Passes and handles extraordinarily well for a 6-11 player. May still be growing. Touch on shots is excellent, and should only improve. Post game is solid. Very good shot blocker.

I know the numbers don't back me up but no question for me that'd I'd take G. Wallace and M. Okur over Zach Randolph and Eddie Curry; over Jason Richardson too at this point in their careers.

Again, I'm doing this based on present-day team needs.

1-Washington-Gilbert Arenas
2-LAC-Joe Johnson (could be their tall PG, a la Shaun Livingston)
3-Memphis-Jason Richardson
4-Chicago-Pau Gasol
5-Golden State-Tyson Chandler
6-Memphis-Zach Randolph
7-New Jersey-Gerald Wallace
8-Cleveland-Tony Parker
9-Detroit-Richard Jefferson
10-Boston-Brandon Haywood
11-Boston-Mehmet Okur (inside-out bigman combination)
12-Seattle-Samuel Dalembert (no need for Johan Petro or Saer Sene today)
