Best point guard in the Atlantic division?

IMO it's been Andre Miller this season, despite the incredible play of Calderon.

What does the rest of the board think?

I think this one is tough. There are five players all very close together. On one hand, Rondo and Harris bring some of the league's best defense. On the other hand, statistically abysmal defense is the dirty secret behind Calderon's offensive efficiency. Ford and Miller are a little more balanced.

For this season I think I'd take:

Ford (missed time not considered)
Calderon
Rondo
Miller
Harris

TJ Ford has been really inconsistent even when he's been healthy. However, when he's on, he's a very dangerous player.

I don't have strong conviction here. I think it could go either way. I gave Rondo the higher spot for his better D, but Miller's not bad in that department. Rondo's offensive volume is much less than Miller's, but his efficiency is only a little lower. He doesn't really effect on the game at the same level Miller does. I guess that's the key. After thinking about it a little more, I'd probably give that spot to Andre.

Rondo is just a tough call because he's filling his role so well. It's just hard to decide how much of his team's success he's responsible for, and to what extent playing with good teammates helps him look good.

As a celts fan I approve of this message. Rondo= lesser version of Harris.

Andre should get more respect for running the 3/4 best fast break team in the NBA and still not turning the ball over.

On a team with few to no real shooters he's averaging a 2.5/1 ass turn ratio while putting up 17 ppg on 50% shooting.

Andre's been the best of the bunch, probuly a career year in an already good career [quoting Mike Gorhman here]. He's doing this on a pretty bad team and still never misses a game, ever.

Andre Miller is the MVP for the Sixers and has greater impact on his team than Rondo.

As far as the list goes:
1. Miller
2. Calderon
3. Ford
4. Rondo (although I think he better than Ford)
5. Harris
